2 miles to the northwest of Andover, Charlton village sits nestled in a river valley and has been a settlement since the Saxon times. With a primary school, shop with Post Office, two pubs, village club and a car garage, the village is well catered for with a population of just under 1000. It is most well-known for the sound of their church bells.
A small village in the Test Valley, just on outskirts of Andover. It’s home to family farm adventure park, Finkley Down Farm and has seen new housing developments being built in the area, which as well as creating new homes, has also expended the amenities available in the area, including a children’s play area, tennis courts, sports pitches, shops, and allotments.
Not only does Amport have a lovely array of charming, thatched cottages, it has a historic church, primary school, pub, village hall and village green, but it also is minutes from The Hawk Conservancy Trust.
